Chopta is a small settlement and valley that is located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. One who is fond of trekking can have extreme fun here..the four kilometer trekking from Chopta to Thunganath temple will be an exciting one…but we must be alert as we are going on a dangerous trekking course after Thunganath to Chandrasila through a steep and dangerous mountain roads.

The second highiest mountain Nanda Devi’s beautiful snowcladed bowed head can be seen from here.The Kedarnath and many other mountains stand behind her as a wailed bride’s party. The sight of Himavan in his golden robe would make the traveler crazy for him. The road leads to Thunganath is blessed with different kinds of wild plants and wide variety of animals.
